Frequently Asked Questions
Tri-County Radiology performs exams six days a week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9am-8pm and 9am-12pm on Saturdays. Appointments must be scheduled, but our hours are flexible for add-ons.
A normal-sized examination room. Our state-of-the-art equipment takes up no more space than a laptop. Examinations usually take approximately 30 minutes. Some exams may be completed sooner while others may take a little longer due to difficulties with complicated exams
A member of our staff. A board certified Radiologist and/or Cardiologist.
If it’s a stat procedure, within hours. All other exams usually take anywhere from 6-24 hours.
It’s easier. Your patients will love and appreciate the convenience of receiving their procedure at your office; a more comfortable environment than a hospital or imaging center. They won’t be hassled with finding a new location, dealing with strangers, or searching high and low for a space in the parking lot. They’ll be at the office of a physician they know and trust.
Tri-County Radiology participates with nearly all insurance companies. We will bill the patient globally. All billing is done in-house, avoiding any 3rd party harassment of patients. A member of our staff is always on hand to help with insurance questions and problems. We provide a discount program to patients that have no insurance
The conditions are all fully compliant with Stark Laws. For more information, call our office. We will be happy to set up an informational meeting where we will explain the contract in full.
Tri-County Radiology uses the new, state-of-the-art virtual PACS (Picture Archiving Communication System). This system utilizes Cloud technology, providing a network that can be accessed by medical professionals across the globe. This system is fully HIPAA-compliant. Through a password-protected web portal, your office can easily access patient images or reports–24 hours a day.
All Tri-County Radiology technologists are R.D.M.S.-certified, R.V.T.-certified, or R.D.C.S.-certified. Some have multiple certifications. Tri-County Radiology itself is A.C.R.-accredited for general and vascular ultrasound, and ICAEL-accredited as an echocardiography laboratory.
